Network Operations

Senior Voice Network Engineer

Own the SIP signalling layer that carries four billion minutes a year, and the routing decisions behind it.

About the role

You will be responsible for the session border controllers and routing engine that sit between our customers and three hundred carrier interconnects. This is a hands-on role: you will be changing routing in production, and you will be the person who understands why a call failed.

Our network operations centre runs continuously. Senior engineers take part in an on-call rotation of roughly one week in six, and we take seriously the principle that on-call should be quiet.

What we are looking for

  • Five or more years operating SIP infrastructure at carrier scale
  • Deep familiarity with Kamailio, OpenSIPS or an equivalent
  • Practical knowledge of RTP, SRTP and transcoding trade-offs
  • Comfortable reading a packet capture when the logs are not enough
  • Experience with least-cost routing and carrier quality measurement

What we offer

  • Competitive salary plus equity
  • On-call compensated separately, not folded into base
  • Private medical cover for you and dependants
  • Annual conference and training budget
  • Hybrid — two days a week in the London office
