About
We built the carrier we wanted to buy from
GTL exists because the people who started it spent years on the other side of the invoice, asking for route-level data nobody would give them.
Our story
Founded on a question nobody would answer
Every founder of GTL spent years buying wholesale voice, and every one of them had the same experience: asking a carrier for per-route quality data and being told it was not available.
It was always available. It just was not in the customer's interest to see it. Blended reporting hides the routes that are quietly failing, and a monthly invoice is a poor place to discover that a destination has been degrading for three weeks.
So the first thing we built was not a routing engine. It was the measurement — ASR, ACD, post-dial delay and short-call ratio, per route, per minute, visible to the customer by default. The routing engine came second, because until you can see what a route is doing, choosing between routes is guesswork.
We are not the cheapest carrier and we do not try to be. We are the one that shows you the numbers, including the ones we would rather you did not see.

How we work
Four commitments we are willing to be held to
-
Show the data
Route quality is visible by default, not on request. If a metric would embarrass us, that is precisely the one worth publishing.
-
Price without traps
Rates are published, changes are notified 30 days ahead, and there is no clause that turns the invoice into a surprise.
-
Answer the phone
Escalation reaches an engineer who can change routing. Not a queue, not a form, not a chatbot that files a ticket.
-
Fail safely
Spend caps are enforced at the session border controller. The expensive failure mode should be the one that is hardest to reach.
Leadership

Come and check the numbers
Ask us for the route data before you sign anything. That is rather the point.
