Backend Engineer, Platform
Build the platform that customers integrate against, with the reliability guarantees telecoms demands.
About the role
The platform is the product for most customers. You will work on provisioning, call control and the event delivery system, in a codebase that treats idempotency and failure modes as design requirements rather than edge cases.
We deploy several times a week. We do not deploy on Fridays.
What we are looking for
- Strong backend experience in PHP, Go or a comparable language
- Designed and versioned public interfaces used by external developers
- Comfortable with queues, retries and eventual consistency
- Relational database fluency — indexes, query plans, migrations under load
- Telecoms experience welcome but not required
